We are saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Charles Crutchfield III, alum and board-certified dermatologist and clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Minnesota. We will remember Dr. Crutchfield for his kindness, expertise, and generosity.
Not only did Dr. Crutchfield make significant contributions to the field of dermatology and play the vital role of educating and training future dermatologists, but he also had a lasting and positive impact on the lives of Black and African American communities in Minnesota through his passionate engagement and volunteer efforts.
We are thankful to Dr. Crutchfield for his steady guidance and leadership in addressing the importance of equity and inclusivity in healthcare in Minnesota. Dr. Crutchfield brought joy and great care into our communities.
